What irons would you suggest, KZG ZO Forged, TaylorMade rac mb tp?
i know kzg have amazing forged irons, are the taylrmade irons as good as the taylormade driver|||I looked at both....chose the Rac's better feel in my opinion....but that is a personal thing.|||That's something for you to determine. What feels best to you is what you should choose. TaylorMade irons are good. I don't have an opinion on the KZG's.
Taylormade tour preferred irons or new r9 tp?
i've been looking at these two irons, and I'm not sure which one to get. I'd like some responses from the people out there. what do you guys think, does last year's tour preferred preform better, or do the r9s. I'd like to ask for no comments about the shaft, seeing im probably going to get fit for different shafts any way. so which do you guys think is better?|||I'd say R9 TP's, because of the fact that the R9 TP's are very very close to the popular R7 TP's. To me Taylor did not get as good of feedback as they thought they would have with the Tour Preferred and went back to the way it should have been done.|||personally I prefer r9 tp irons|||You should go to a Pro Shop and get fitted with both irons and see which ones feel better to hit with. you can;' always go with what people tell you here although the R9 nines are newer technology it doesn't always mean that's what is best for you. I am still playing Ping g2s|||new r9 tp is more professional, tour preferred is more forgiving.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement head cover for a taylormade spider balero putter?
When did you buy the putter?
Last season I had just bought a TM R9 fairway wood and I was out on the course when a massive lightning storm rolled in. Of course I was out at the farthest point of the course and had to run all the way back to the club house. In my haste to get off the course my fairway wood head cover had fallen off the club and I lost it.
I contacted TM support and told them what happened and they sent me a new head cover! I would try contacting TM and tell them what happened . . . or make up some good story :) and see if they send you a new one.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Are taylormade woods worth the price?
When going about picking woods what's the best combinations for a newbie at golf? I want an over sized platform for maximum forgiveness. I was looking at Ping, Nike, and Taylormade.|||taylormade clubs are definetely worth the price, because they make their clubs to perfection. If youre really concerned about the price, a good idea is to try and test out a set of second hand taylormade clubs. remember that its not all about the clubs, and its about what fits you and what feels good in your hands. I hope my answer helped.|||The fist of doom is absolutely right, go to a golf store and spend some time talking to one of the more knowledgeable reps or better yet go to a golfcourse and talk to one of the pros. I in particular really wanted a Taylor Made driver - they are amazingly solid when hit and the ball jumps off the face. However, me personally - when I stood over it to hit a ball, looking down at it I couldn't get comfortable with my aim. It always appeard to be pointed left.
I felt most comfortable with the Cobra and Cleveland drivers. When I was on the launch monitor I hit a bunch of drivers till I found the one that maximized carry and roll. You should pick a loft that is right for you. Lofts range from 8.5 to 12 degrees on drivers. A low loft with a slow swing speed won't fly far enough and may slice too much. A high loft for a fast swing speed will go too high and won't fly far enough so the loft, swing speed and quality of swing need to match.
As important as the appearance and feel of the head is the shaft - be sure to match a shaft to your swing speed. A person that is 5' 8" tall with a medium swing speed and a 6' 3" person with a fast swing speed will need a different shaft. A slower swing needs more flex to increase distance and a faster swing will need a stiff shaft to control accuracy.
So it's important to pick the right club head for feel, sound, loft and alignment. After you find a club that you like in the store, shop around for that model at a cheaper price, here's the link to Golfsmith's Outlet - they have incredible deals.|||You can always find them in the used club bin at the local golf shop. From experience, I own the V-Steel 15潞 and the R580XD 10.5潞 driver; both are outstanding. I hit the R7 460 Draw while on vacation...Ball went FAR and straight. The new Burner line is very popular.|||Yes.
R7s are great drivers.
R7 fairway woods, hybrids, are nice too.
V-steel woods are $99.
Get them used.|||I know we all tend to prefer certain manufacturers for one reason or another, but you just can't substitute for experience.
Go to your preferred local golf shop and just hit everything in the store on the simulator or launch monitor. You'll find out pretty quickly what brands interest you. My criteria for any new club are usually
1. How does it perform as far as distance compared to the others I tried?
2. How does good contact feel?
3. How forgiving are my mishits?
Here's a site for some club reviews, there's some good info there. Most of the reviews are good but a lot of people write about equipment they didn't like as well.

Does anyone feel that TP blacks go MUCH shorter than the TP Reds from Taylormade?
Recently i just switched from Titleist pro V1s to Taylormade TP blacks. Many reviewers have said that they lost 20 yards of the tee when using TP blacks over the TP reds. I am a 7 Handicap and never tried the TP reds because of my low spin rate, but if i really could gain an extra 20 yards i would try them out. Does anyone find this true or is it just talk??? |||the only difference would be that the guys are using the wrong ball for what they do the think it goes further because they hit a low screamer with the red and black thus the black helps them by putting more spin and rising but the red just gets distance the blacks are amazing i play them and cant tell a difference between them and the V1s play them for a round and you will absolutely love them I have spun a wood on a green from 210 out and I am a 18 handicap and only been playing a year there that good|||Just go back to ProV1s...or try the B330s|||You will not gain 20 yards with any golf ball, all things being equal. Go for the feel and spin you like, the distance differences are so small as to be inconsequential.
Which is better for someone 14 Taylormade Burner Superfast Driver or the Taylormade Burner Superfast TP Driver?
He's 5'7', 140 lbs. If it makes a difference|||it's the indian, not the arrow.
sorry if I screwed up your ad.|||Personally I thought the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver is better.|||it really doesnt matter, the only difference is that the TP has a 2 degree open face and the regular is square or slightly closed
