What irons would you suggest, KZG ZO Forged, TaylorMade rac mb tp?

i know kzg have amazing forged irons, are the taylrmade irons as good as the taylormade driver|||I looked at both....chose the Rac's better feel in my opinion....but that is a personal thing.|||That's something for you to determine. What feels best to you is what you should choose. TaylorMade irons are good. I don't have an opinion on the KZG's.

Taylormade tour preferred irons or new r9 tp?

i've been looking at these two irons, and I'm not sure which one to get. I'd like some responses from the people out there. what do you guys think, does last year's tour preferred preform better, or do the r9s. I'd like to ask for no comments about the shaft, seeing im probably going to get fit for different shafts any way. so which do you guys think is better?|||I'd say R9 TP's, because of the fact that the R9 TP's are very very close to the popular R7 TP's. To me Taylor did not get as good of feedback as they thought they would have with the Tour Preferred and went back to the way it should have been done.|||personally I prefer r9 tp irons|||You should go to a Pro Shop and get fitted with both irons and see which ones feel better to hit with. you can;' always go with what people tell you here although the R9 nines are newer technology it doesn't always mean that's what is best for you. I am still playing Ping g2s|||new r9 tp is more professional, tour preferred is more forgiving.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement head cover for a taylormade spider balero putter?

When did you buy the putter?

Last season I had just bought a TM R9 fairway wood and I was out on the course when a massive lightning storm rolled in. Of course I was out at the farthest point of the course and had to run all the way back to the club house. In my haste to get off the course my fairway wood head cover had fallen off the club and I lost it.

I contacted TM support and told them what happened and they sent me a new head cover! I would try contacting TM and tell them what happened . . . or make up some good story :) and see if they send you a new one.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Are taylormade woods worth the price?

When going about picking woods what's the best combinations for a newbie at golf? I want an over sized platform for maximum forgiveness. I was looking at Ping, Nike, and Taylormade.|||taylormade clubs are definetely worth the price, because they make their clubs to perfection. If youre really concerned about the price, a good idea is to try and test out a set of second hand taylormade clubs. remember that its not all about the clubs, and its about what fits you and what feels good in your hands. I hope my answer helped.|||The fist of doom is absolutely right, go to a golf store and spend some time talking to one of the more knowledgeable reps or better yet go to a golfcourse and talk to one of the pros. I in particular really wanted a Taylor Made driver - they are amazingly solid when hit and the ball jumps off the face. However, me personally - when I stood over it to hit a ball, looking down at it I couldn't get comfortable with my aim. It always appeard to be pointed left.

I felt most comfortable with the Cobra and Cleveland drivers. When I was on the launch monitor I hit a bunch of drivers till I found the one that maximized carry and roll. You should pick a loft that is right for you. Lofts range from 8.5 to 12 degrees on drivers. A low loft with a slow swing speed won't fly far enough and may slice too much. A high loft for a fast swing speed will go too high and won't fly far enough so the loft, swing speed and quality of swing need to match.

As important as the appearance and feel of the head is the shaft - be sure to match a shaft to your swing speed. A person that is 5' 8" tall with a medium swing speed and a 6' 3" person with a fast swing speed will need a different shaft. A slower swing needs more flex to increase distance and a faster swing will need a stiff shaft to control accuracy.

So it's important to pick the right club head for feel, sound, loft and alignment. After you find a club that you like in the store, shop around for that model at a cheaper price, here's the link to Golfsmith's Outlet - they have incredible deals.|||You can always find them in the used club bin at the local golf shop. From experience, I own the V-Steel 15潞 and the R580XD 10.5潞 driver; both are outstanding. I hit the R7 460 Draw while on vacation...Ball went FAR and straight. The new Burner line is very popular.|||Yes.

R7s are great drivers.

R7 fairway woods, hybrids, are nice too.

V-steel woods are $99.

Get them used.|||I know we all tend to prefer certain manufacturers for one reason or another, but you just can't substitute for experience.

Go to your preferred local golf shop and just hit everything in the store on the simulator or launch monitor. You'll find out pretty quickly what brands interest you. My criteria for any new club are usually

1. How does it perform as far as distance compared to the others I tried?

2. How does good contact feel?

3. How forgiving are my mishits?

Here's a site for some club reviews, there's some good info there. Most of the reviews are good but a lot of people write about equipment they didn't like as well.

Does anyone feel that TP blacks go MUCH shorter than the TP Reds from Taylormade?

Recently i just switched from Titleist pro V1s to Taylormade TP blacks. Many reviewers have said that they lost 20 yards of the tee when using TP blacks over the TP reds. I am a 7 Handicap and never tried the TP reds because of my low spin rate, but if i really could gain an extra 20 yards i would try them out. Does anyone find this true or is it just talk??? |||the only difference would be that the guys are using the wrong ball for what they do the think it goes further because they hit a low screamer with the red and black thus the black helps them by putting more spin and rising but the red just gets distance the blacks are amazing i play them and cant tell a difference between them and the V1s play them for a round and you will absolutely love them I have spun a wood on a green from 210 out and I am a 18 handicap and only been playing a year there that good|||Just go back to ProV1s...or try the B330s|||You will not gain 20 yards with any golf ball, all things being equal. Go for the feel and spin you like, the distance differences are so small as to be inconsequential.

Which is better for someone 14 Taylormade Burner Superfast Driver or the Taylormade Burner Superfast TP Driver?

He's 5'7', 140 lbs. If it makes a difference|||it's the indian, not the arrow.

sorry if I screwed up your ad.|||Personally I thought the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver is better.|||it really doesnt matter, the only difference is that the TP has a 2 degree open face and the regular is square or slightly closed

Taylormade is starting Golf Academy from next month in hyderabad both for adults & juniors.?

As you know one of our Indian pro has already won in PGA Tournamnet. So who knows next one can be nyone among you. All those who wanna learn Golf from scratch lemme know. Its a beautiful game n we r trying to promote it here in hyderabad and we need your support.|||where it is??

Should I get the Titleist 910 d2 or Taylormade Burner r11?

What's the difference? Please detailed answers.|||It's really based on personal preference. Your best bet is to go to your local golf shop and test both drivers out. Don't go with what other people think, go with what feels best. And the Taylormade Burner and the Taylormade R11 are completely different drivers as it seems you got them mixed up in your question.

Titleist 910 d2

The Titleist 910 D2 Driver delivers longer distance through a technologically advanced head design with a responsive, fast face insert that creates a ball-speed area that is 15% larger than other drivers. The patented, innovative, SureFit Tour dual-angle hosel provides precise and independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control. High performance weighting and a sloped, ultra-thin crown design increases stability and creates a low and deep center of gravity for medium/high launch with medium/low spin. This driver has a higher launch and spin that the Titleist D3. An interchangeable shaft connection and rear weight screw provide enhanced fitting options and the full pear-shaped profile has a a rich black, PVD and paint finish that instills confidence at the address. This driver has been acoustically engineered for a hot, solid sound and feel and will be the star of the course!

Rating of a 4.9/5 based on 18 reviews.

Taylormade Burner Superfast

The TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 Driver offers exceptional distance with extremely light weight. The aggressive head shape features drag-reducing geometry on the sole with a tapered back end for faster overall swing speeds which translates to more distance off the tee. Ultra-thin Wall technology on the inside reduces the wall thickness in the clubhead to allow for a larger face up front. This creates the biggest face on any TaylorMade Driver which gives you a larger hitting area with a larger sweet spot for more forgiveness. TaylorMade has also included the 2.0 technology, which engineers each club for more control, higher ball flight and an improved sound and feel.

Rating of a 4.9/5 based on 18 reviews.

Taylormade R11

The TaylorMade R11 Driver is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 driver in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver. This club promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. The new aerodynamic shape promotes faster clubhead speed for more distance, 6 yards longer than the R9 Supertri. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

Rating of 4.4/5 based on 30 reviews.

I hope this helps you with your purchase of a new driver.|||Traditionally, Titleist has king of "prided" themselves on making clubs that are not very forgiving. Meaning that if you have a Titleist driver in your bag and you can hit it.. You're a player. Taylormade clubs are a lot easier to hit--more forgiving of miss-hits.

A detailed answer is not going to help you much. The best answer is on the range. Demo each club and choose the one you hit best.|||There is a reason Taylor Made is the #1 driver in golf - they rock. I have the 2009 Tour Burner and it still outperforms my mates. The only way to know which one is for you is to smack them boaf and pick the one that feels best and delivers the best results.|||taylormade r11

Taylormade. Whats the difference between tp (irons and driver/woods) amd non-tp (irons and driver/woods)?

Taylormade. Whats the difference between tp (irons and driver/woods) amd non-tp (irons and driver/woods)?|||Contrary to what Anyjay says...TP stands for tour preferred. They feature a thinner top line......higher center of gravity for lower trajectory, and smaller club face than the non TP Taylormade Irons. They are a more feel oriented club. and as a result a less forgiving club on off center contact|||In the woods typically the TP version is going to have a smaller head to promote more workability and they'll also typically have a higher cnter of gravity to promote a lower trajectory and again, more workability. In the TP irons you'll normally see a thinner sole and thinner topline with a smaller head, and again, a higher center of gravity for workability and the irons will tend to have less offset.|||TP stands for Tour professional. The difference then for beginner clubs and TP clubs comes in the "feel" versus the result.

A beginner is quite happy to get the ball in the air and get a little more out of shots which are on the "poorer" end of the scale. To achieve this clubs are deigned to distrubute most of the weight low and far back in the club as possible.

The cost of doing this is the feel and control that the skilled golfer wants in order to be able to precisely choose how much weight to put behind the ball or push across the ball for spin.

All this is in milli-seconds of course.|||the difference is 'tp'

I want to buy a taylormade r580xd fairway 3 wood with fujikura shaft(orange) ,where can I get one?

I've tried ***** sporting goods, golfsmith, tgw, and sports auth.|||YES!!! I finally found something you could cope with. It is everything you wanted exept that the shaft is red instead of orange (judging by the snapshot),. However, it is a bid on Ebay which means you're gonna need a PayPal account, and your gonna have to out-bid the other guy who has his eye on it. As of now, there's only one bid on it and there's one day and two hours left before the auction is over. I hope I was some help. It took forever to find it.|||Yeah! Let me know if you get it!

Taylormade r9 driver or the taylormade burner 09?

I was going to buy a new driver should i get the taylormade r9 or the taylormade burner 09.|||Do not buy the r9 at retail, you know it will be discounted $200 in about 60 more days.|||test them both out. the r9 is more expensive and gives you a lot more options if your driving is not very good. the burner is slightly more forgiving but i would go for the r9. also, the r9 has a slightly lower trajectory (i tested it with the stock fujikura shaft) while the burner is popular for adding distance. it's your choice though.|||you can try some discount r9 driver, but at first, you can demo the two in the local store and decide which one is suitable for you. That is the most important thing.

What's best - TaylorMade Burner Draw Driver or the R7 version?

I'm slicing most of my drives and been looking for a draw driver. My current driver is a 9.5* loft which might explain some spin. I've only been playing 6 months and it seems that my slicing is costing me probably 2 shots per hole - which, if cured, would bring my handicap down rather nicely!!! Should I stick with a neutral driver and attempt to cure my technique or go for the draw?|||lets see...... New driver = Somewhere around 175.00 with shipping. Net result you have a new driver and still slice.

Lessons from a Pro = Somewhere around 50.00........No slice and 125.00 still in pocket........ Which math looks better to you?|||I doubt your are slicing because of the club. I would bet that you are either one...not finishing your swing, thus leaving your right hand open....or two....you are swinging outside to inside. Do some of your drives go straight except a dead pull to the left ? This is an outsiude/inside swing that you finished with your right hand.

For me it is all TEMPO !!!!!

Next time you are at the range, try hitting drives as easy as you can...no effort, just go through the motions of the swing and let the club produce the power. My bet is that you will hit it straight. I was fortunate to watch the Senior Tour here in Washginton State. I followed Tom Kite around. The one thing I noticed was they all swing with the same tempo....The young guns on the PGA still can swing with all of their might and control the head of the club.

Watch Fred Couples...he has the BEST TEMPO ever !.

I agree with the previous statement. Your money spent on a lesson will be way better spent then at your golf pro shop.

I play a TP BURNER 9.5 degree with a stiff shaft.....If I try and overswing....exit stage right.

Make sure you are finishing your swing at the bottom. By this I mean make sure your right hand is closing at the end bringing the head into the same position as at address.....rolling your right hand over the top and pulling like heck with the left.....|||Taylor Made Golf- R7 Draw Rescue Hybrid Graphite $79.99 - $89.99

Tired of hitting it right? The built in draw bias will take care of that problem, and a whole lot more. Recently named to Golf Digest's 2007 HOT LIST, this baby is packed with technology to save you strokes on the course. Features a larger head, T-Shaped sole to blast it from any lie, a super-low COG for super-high moment of inertia. If you haven't already, replace your long irons today!!

|||Yea spend the money on lessons. The club has nothing to do with your incorrect swing. I don't like the draw versions of clubs because it just lets you work with imperfections instead of correct them. If anything, you'd need to change the shaft you use, not the club itself.|||Keep what you have and spend the money on a professional lesson. The pro can look at your swing and determine exactly what is wrong and how to fix it. Golf Galaxy runs 4 lessons for $99.00, much cheaper than a new driver.|||Cure the technique. It will be cheaper than a new driver, and serve you well for many years to come.||| you'd better go to local shop of golf and ask the boss to give you some advice.|||what is your handicap?|||i agree with unoriginal just get some lessons it is better than getting new clubs |||i think u can turn to a professional teacher

I'm a 1 handicap and to get new set of taylormade irons should go with all blades in the mb or get the mixed s?

get all blades or the mixed set with the long irons being mc and mid to short being blades|||i can only say use whats comfortable for you.|||To be honest with you, i would reccomend the cavity backs. Look at the worlds top ten golfers, only half of them play blades, and they are the best in the world. High end cavity backs offer nearly the same amount of playablity as blades, but with much greater forgiveness and distance. just a forewarning, blades do not fly unless you hit the center of the face, and i mean center. Even for the top amateur, cavuty backs are a much better option, and will help you out. That slight off center hit may be 12 yards short with a blade, but only 6 yards with a cavity. If i were you, i would go with the cavity!!! Dont try to be a hero, take advantage of the slight amount of forgiveness of the cb without sacrificing the playability.|||Not necessarily.

Taylormade R9 irons or callaway x24 irons, which one is great ?

i am a beginner, i want to buy one irons set, i donot choose which: Taylormade R9 irons or callaway x24 irons?

help me!|||I highly recommended Taylormade R9 irons, there are some details about the two clubs you can get better understanding in the below sourse.|||Go to your nearest range or pro shop and get fit for a set and go with whatever set you hit best that day, including whatever else the pro recommends for a learner. It likely may not be either of the two you asked about, as a beginner would require a set for game improvement and help the ball fly straight.|||If you're a beginner, you're not going to really tell the difference between those which can be pretty expensive and only have the irons, and a $250 set that has a bag, woods, irons, putter, and everything else.

Start with that and then maybe in a year or two, once you start getting your feel down and learning the all the wonderful tidbits of golf, you could buy something a bit better.

But like you said, you're a beginner, so I don't think you will benefit or be able to tell the difference between a $200 set or a $1000 set.

I recently purchased a left handed taylormade r7 cgb max driver?

and i constantly slice the ball, and i was wondering if anyone had tips on where or how i should set up the tlc cartridges (weights) to help solve this problem|||put the heaviest weight in the heel, and the lightest weight near the toe. This will help you get the face square at impact, and allow it to fully close throughout the swing. If you put the heaviest weight in the toe, it'll keep the face open, thus making your slice worse.|||you could change the weights but to really imprve you should fix your slice by swinging through the ball better, and practise pullling the ball

Did I get a good deal on Taylormade Burner Driver?

I paid 262 Canadian dollars for Taylormade Burner Reax SF 50 9.5 degreee Stiff shaft. Did I get a good deal?|||Take a look at easybuygolf.com. you will find the clubs are much cheaper.|||that seems a little pricy but the most important thing is that if it WORKS for you, then it was worth it!|||Well the 07 burner (the one you indicated you bought) sells for about 150 us dollars so you kinda got ripped off a little there, but if you hit it well, then you got a great deal, because a golf club that you can't hit isn't worth anything.

Also, the reax shaft is just the stock shaft on the burner, nothing special|||I dont think you got a good deal.I purchased this new 09 type on www.easybuygolf.com last month,it only cost me 149.99 US dollars with free shipping.Everything is smooth.

Taylormade R9 Driver and Taylormade R9 460 Driver which is better ?

and i want to know what's the diiffirence between them. i need some suggestions.Thanks.|||The r9 is 430cc. The r9 460 is 460cc. CC= cubic centimeters, or how big it is. There won't be a whole mess of difference, forgiveness-wise... 30cc isn't that much bigger (if the r9 was 360cc, then we'd be talking...). The r9 has movable weights, the r9 460 doesn't, though they both have adjustable hosels. Whether that's important is up to you... though if you're properly fitted, it won't be that big of a deal.|||Try %26gt; http://www.taylormadegolf.com/

The internet is a wonderful thing if you actually use it, not so good if you don't.|||460 is better

Should I Buy TaylorMade Tour Burner or Burner XD Irons?

I'm undecided between the two and am looking for some advice on each set. I'm being custom fitted on Friday so I'll need to decide then.

I do like the TaylorMade arrow grips and it seems the Burner XD irons have these but the Tour Burners do not.|||the XD is considered to be a game improvement club. As such it's targeted at the mid to high handicapper. They're very forgiving irons. I took a set of XDs for a round a couple of weeks ago and I was quite impressed. The ones that I tried had 90 gm steel shafts, nice and light and they went well with the weighted iron heads. I got probably 20 yards more out of them than I normally get with my Rac 2s.

Purely by coincidence this morning I was talking with a TM rep and he was telling me about the new burner irons. The target demographic for the tours is going to be the mid to low handicapper. They won't be as forgiving as the XDs but you will be able to work the ball better with the burners than with the XDs. From your question it sounds like you haven't tried either yet so I'd suggest that you wait until after your fitting and see which you prefer. As a mid-cap either choice would work for you so it's just a matter of personal preference.|||If your being custom fitted why ask? The fitting will show whats best for you and I'm sure they'll fit the grips you want.|||I would buy Pings. I know this doesn't answer your question but Pings kick ars. Their fitting process is second to none.|||Before buying any club I would advise you to hit them on a launch monitor. The data will tell you which ones you hit best.

Take your pick. You can find whatever you want, depending on how much you're willing to spend. Two things, though:

1. make sure you're fit for your shaft. There's no point spending $100 on a shaft that's too stiff and/or heavy (or conversely, to light and/or whippy) for you.

2. make sure you get one that fits into your driver. Find out if your clubhead's hosel has a .335 or .350 diameter. It'll make life a little easier for you.|||Check here

What is the best Taylormade driver for a amateur ?

My own opinion r7|||The name on the sole matters very little. What matters is that the loft is the right amount for your swing speed (generally slower swingers need more, faster swingers need less) and the shaft is the right flex (in CPM, not what's stated on the shaft).

Driver's nowadays are designed more for amateurs. That's why the heads are the size of grapfruits. They're also marketed with mysterious numbers and "great feel"... the numbers are impossible for the average golfer to test and varify and "feel" is completely abused. How does one know what something "feels", especially when it relates to millions of different people with millions of differing tastes?

The USGA/R%26amp;A initiated their latest Rule as it concerns with drivers in 2006. Since then, everything has been maxed out, or pushed as close to the legal limit as physics allows. They do mess with center of gravity location, but that doesn't always guarantee it'll be good for every individual. That's why you need to be fitted. Go somewhere that doesn't have a brand affiliation. That way, you won't get suckered in to buying something for a kickback- you'll be getting the absolute best driver for your game.|||There is no "best" it's which one works best for you. Try different ones, find one whose balance, stiffness and mass work for you. Pay less attention to materials and more to stroke.

Is there anyone who use the newest golf shot "2009 TaylorMade R9 Driver " ?

How much would a Taylormade MB cost?

A new set. How about an old set? Where can I buy it?

By the way, this is the first gen one, not the Taylormade MB TP|||The version I think you are talking about is the RAC MB. It came out in 2002 so I doubt that you will find a new set anywhere. I should think that based on the PGA Value guide that you should be able to buy a good used set in the 300.00 Range.|||Ya the set you are talking about is the RAC MB, which was not actually that good of a set. If anything, the TP MB's are much better and worth the extra money. You should be able to find the RAC MB's on ebay for probably around 300-400 dollars.|||Do you mean the RAC MB? Look on ebay. I'm sure there is a set on there.

I have a Nike Sasquatch but I saw a Taylormade r7 425 quad fro $200... which club is better and why?

I am looking for a good balence between distance and accuracy.|||Why don't you hit it and find out for yourself? Only you can determine which driver is better for you. I love Nike products so I would choose the Nike over TaylorMade. That doesn't mean that the TaylorMade driver sucks. I actually may hit the TaylorMade better if I tried it, but I like the Nike driver. Think about it though; the number one player in the world uses a Sasquatch. Hmmm!|||Only you can decide what is best for you. Just because tiger woods plays nike doesn't mean you have to. You should play what is more comfortable to you and only you. Each club feels different to others than to you.

good luck|||Taylor Made is much better. I hit both at Golfsmith on the simulator and the TM is just an overall better club. The Nike is much better than in the past but they are way behind TM as far as drivers.|||Im not fond of nike their drivers arent that good.|||There is no better club overall. It's purely down to preference. If you go into a golf shop and get a fitting you should get an answer. I prefer Taylormade myself but that is because I can hit the SQ about 50 yards...and to the left.|||I would go with the R7 the quad is really nice with the draw screws and the face has a really nice pop, also taylormade in general is the better brand of golf equiptment|||im sorry but they both suck|||Hit both clubs on a Launch simulator. the data will tell you which is better for your swing. In this day and age you can't buy clubs based on brand.....its the results that count and everybody has different swing dynamics.

Would you rather have a callaway X460 or the taylormade burner?

im confused of which one to buy.....which one is better out of those two?|||If I were you I would go with the Burner too. The burner just came out and the X460 has been out for awhile. You don't see any tour players playing the X460, but several are playing the burner. The burner looks a little better too. But try them both out and whichever you hit best then that is what you get.|||i would prefer the taylor made burner

u should go to a store and practice with both and see which one is the best 4 u|||i would definitely go for the burner....hands down....it is shaped to give more power/speed to your swing...in which creating more distance for you to bomb it....but maybe try the hibore...that club is freaking awesome.... don't let the shape fool you....i thought it was so weird...but then tried it out and bombed it.....beating the burner and sasquatch in distance and accuracy....but its all up to you...go to a range and try em out or a launch monitor....good luck!|||u should go see a pro and what club suits u. but taylor made has the No. 1 driver, woods, irons in the world, but it is sometimes hard to hit becoz it may give u slices often and hooks.

Is there a difference between the 07 taylormade burner and 08 burner?

i know i want to buy a burner, but i was wondering if there was a big differnece between the 07 and 08... as i would like to get the slightly cheaper 07 but not if the 08 is much better... thanks in advance|||there was no changes in 08 changes came in 09 . The changes in 09 bring the toe of the club to a point %26gt; looks something like that. There is nothing wrong with cheaper 07 just that several models have come since then so its "outdated" . But I dare anyone to take my 07 away from me ! i love it . They only way to know if the 09 is better have them both taped up and swing away. If there's a difference you will be able to spot it .|||It is the Indian not the arrow. The changes are cosmetic and the difference is the price!|||In my opinion get to 07, I own it and love it plus i think it looks better.

I'm not sure what the 08 has that the 07 doesn't.|||not a big difference. most companies will make small changes to their clubs every year to make more money, there is not much difference year to year but in the range of 5 years there have been enough changes to think about getting a new one.

Also i just bought a Taylor made R9 and i think you should check it out because i used to hit the ball 250-260 and i had no idea where it would go but now i hit it 280-290 within 10 yards right or left of where i am aiming.|||No there is no difference besides the slight visual adjustments. Taylormade rarely changes much in their Burner drivers line.

How can I get sponsored by Taylormade?

I am 14 years old and shoot high 70s low 80s

Now I know I'm not going to get sponsored any time soon but I just wanna know how so can if I ever get good enough so don't say I'm not good enough I just want to know the steps|||Companies sponsor golfers because they are high profile people. That means they get their faces on t.v. where millions will see them. It is advertising the company brand when a company sponsors a touring pro. The pros also have obligations to do company events, promos and/or commercials depending on the level of the endorsement.

If you want a sponsor, you may want to fill out a resume just as if you were applying for a job except that you will outline your golfing experience, your future plans and your ability to get recognized. Outline your plan for getting their company noticed. How you can get positive advertising for their business. Getting your name out there will be only part of the battle. Playing in as many organized/sanctioned events as you can will help.

Finally, Taylormade is a high profile company. Their advertising budget is rather large compared to a smaller company. They will usually target big name people to represent them. You may need to start small, get local support to get started. When you get to the big stage, your opportunities to endorse big companies will be there.|||Before you get a sponsor or any endorsement you have to accomplish something. This usually happens when a very great amateur player like Tiger Woods wants to turn professional after winning the US Amateur thrice and Nike offered him a contract he couldn't refuse. So enter the state Junior , state amateur, state open, all the USGA qualifiers, win or place high in the standings. Once you have achieved all the goals as an amateur you turn professional and if you have any accomplishments of note ( Anthony Kim ) the sponsors will contact you.|||When you get of age, you could become a teaching professional through the PGA. You can then get sponsored easily (assuming you can get a job), and you will receive a certain amount of free balls, and sometimes even clubs.

To be honest, at age 14 you need to post tournament scores under par regularly to even have a chance at being a professional who plays the game for a living. Keep practicing all day everyday and enter every junior tournament you can find ... Good luck.|||Typically, if you're playing on a tour (mini-tour or one of the larger tours), each company will have manufacturer's representatives at tournaments looking to sign guys on endorsement deals. At the mini-tour level, don't expect much. Maybe some free product initially, with additional compensation to come based on how your career progresses.

Taylormade's parent company is Adidas, FWIW.

Currently you're an amateur so they cannot approach you regarding compensation. In many cases, before they outlay dollars, they'd want to see your playing history (if you will, a resume of your amateur playing history...tournaments entered, record, etc.) and likely talk to your coach.

Failing that, your agent or business manager would handle these things for you (i.e. field the enquiry, and present you, as a player, with a deal).

You're more than a touch guilty of, shall we say, putting the cart in front of the horse. By that...if you're good enough, the endorsements will come (in other words, the equipment/apparel companies will find you).|||play the AJGA.

its at AJGA.org. its a international golf tournaments for junior golfers. i have 2 friends, one sponsored by ping, the other by taylormade.

they should 65 consistantly, if yur 14 and shooting that high, good luck, your gunna need it. im at the course 6 hours a dayb 7 days a week and im a 1 handicap.|||It works like this... They will find you, you don't find them.

Overall, as you win tournaments and get your name known, you'll be

approached by reps., from various companies. I first suggest you start an LLC before you sign anything.

In any case, when you become somebody, everybody whats you to pimp their products/name. But as long as you are a nobody, forget it.|||Step 1. Practice

Is there a difference between the 2011 Taylormade Burner TP and 2010 Burner TP?

I'm thinking about buying the new one and i have last years model. they look exactly the same besides the white head. are there any major differences?|||Im pretty sure it is a lighter club and has a slightly longer shaft. It also has a lower COG (Centre of Gravity) promoting a higher launch angle for more height and distance.|||there is no such thing as a 2011 burner tp, there is the r11 and the superfast|||yeah one makes you pay more :) but seriously not really

What irons are better, Taylormade Burners or Nike Sumos?

I am shopping for some new irons and woods and I need to know which is better the Taylormade Burner irons or the Nike Sumo Irons. Please Help Thanks|||I would go with the Burners. I would, however, caution against buying them on eBay. If you do, make sure they are from a very reputable seller, as eBay is rife with counterfeit clubs.|||I have taylormade burners and i like them-but ive never used nike sumos but my friend has and i hit better than him 8 times out of 10|||There will be very little difference between them, its down to what you like best.

I would seriously consider Mizuno MX-200 or MP-52. I have played Mizunos for many years and are the best IMO.|||I really appriciate Burner irons .Not only they perfom smooth for me ,but also more and more people are hitting this set .As to purchasing them , if you want to get a cheaper or discount set ,you can take a try at Ebay or wowogolf.com .Hope you get what you really love .

Which hybrid is better the TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Rescue or the 07 TaylorMade Burner Rescue?

I am looking at both of them and i can't figure out which one i should buy. I went to demo both of them but the store i went to don't have them to demo. I also need some pros and cons on both hybrids because the reviews online only give pros.|||If the golf shop you went to doesn't have them to demo, then obviously you're not going to buy either of them at that shop. Find a shop that sells them and you'll be able to demo them. You asked the same question yesterday.|||the are both equally good but id go with the r7CGB becuz its a safer bet to play with

How good are the new R7 irons from Taylormade?

They felt better than the Callaways, and much better than Mizuno's. The Mizuno's suck.|||You answered your own question. If they feel better, they are better. If you can't hit the Mizuno irons, it's probably your swing, because they are top-notch irons. I would always recommend Taylormade. I'm on my third set since '95. But it's really about what you think works best for you. Personally, I think the "web" thing on the back is a bit gimmicky for a company that usually made clean-looking irons.|||I have a set of Taylormade R7 irons R steel for sale. Contact me at 98384289. |||Like it was stated before its all on fell. If the r7 feel beter than the mizunos then hit the r7. But to the person that says Mizuno is not a golf company, Your right, they are a sport company and a very great one at that. Every thing is high quality from Mizuno. My dad is hitting the MP60 from them and kills them. Myself i love the feel of my Cleavland TA5. But its all personal. Hit what you feels good.|||They are the absolute best! What happens to the face of the taylormade r7 superqaud when you hit a ball?

Lately I've heard they are cracking lots, but the face should bend back a tiny bit when you hit the ball, they are made so this nowadays to get a higher ball speed.|||nothing....it doesnt compress or anything, it just has a much bigger face than most driver. it pretty much pushes the regulations to the limits

I am looking for a Taylormade cart golf bag?

I am looking for a golf bag made by Taylormade, it is yellow and red, has club locks to hold them in place, I have seen only one and I can't find another. It is bright yellow with red and doesn't have very big pockets but it's bright and rediculous looking and I would like to know what it is called and where I can find another one.|||Bright and Ridiculous = Taylormade LOL, but at least they have a noticeable style.

Which brand is better for a novice taylormade or titleist?

I am just want to start this sport, and want to buy the clubs, I like these 2 brands, which one is better for a novice?|||Maybe taylormade is better for you.

Check on www.golfinstock.com. You will found the difference between them.|||I like to think of Taylormade as the "people's brand" that means they make products for all kinds of golfers, novice to experts. It all started with there moveable weight technology in drivers and has continued with all their clubs, putters, irons, wedges, etc.|||IMO, Titleist concentrates their products on the more accomplish player with the exception of the AP1 irons. TaylorMade makes equipment for all player levels. I would lean more toward TaylorMade due to them making more equipment for all levels of play.|||I know taylormade made the best driver, and the titleist's putter is cool!|||Start with a pro let him give you his professional advice. Used ones to start, then when you know what you are doing you can buy new ones|||If you are just starting out you don't want Titleist then, your best bet is to go with Taylormade. Their clubs are easier to hit for a beginner.|||PING ;)|||If you're properly fitted, either. People have ideas in their heads about certain companies, which has baffled me for years. Company A only makes clubs for really good golfers, while Company B makes clubs for hacks. Bull. If you're properly fitted, there are TONS of options... No, a forged muscleback blade may not be good, nor would an open-faced driver (of course, those aren't absolutes, either).

But whatever you decide to buy, get fit for the clubs. Even though you're just starting out, get fit. People will say "don't worry about it", but that's not true. Having clubs that fit your swing will help keep bad habits away while allowing you to groove a consistent swing. As your swing grows (which happens to everyone, even Tour pros) you can be refit if things start to feel amiss.

Just bought Taylormade Burner '08 driver. Anybody else have it, and what do you think of it?

I just got back from Golf Galaxy, I liked a Burner I tried of a friend of mine's, so I thought I would give it a go. I got it cut down by 2 inches, and I am a lefty. Anybody have any tips or just plain opinions? And what kind of ball works well with it?|||I don't have it, but I've tried it. It's got a good weight to it that matches with how I swing a club like a pendulum. I want to get one of my own, but don't have the cash.|||I used one for a while, but left it in favor of a titelist 975j which I know sounds wierd but I hit the ball thirty yards further with it. I liked it but it seemed to lack power, very accurare, I liked using the maxfli noodle ice with it, I could put it 225 in the middle every time. but with the titelist it's more like 265 but slightly more eratic.

How to get the taylormade r7 weights out without a tool?

is there any way?|||I suggest take the club back to the place where you bought it and ask them about it.|||I have a tool that fits perfectly w/ my screw driver, it chewed up the screws though.|||The "Tool" is a simple Torx. You can buy them at about any auto parts store. Even Walmart has them.

What are the ways to tell if a Taylormade or Callaway club is authentic?

i think nowadays, all authentic clubs have a hologram sticker on the shaft... also, look closely at the shaft and club head... for any false wordings or anything... ohh, if u r provided with a garantee upon purchase, then its real.

How much would it cost to repair the shaft on one of my TaylorMade RAC HT clubs.?

Its is from the RAC HT series, 4 iron with the graphite shaft

Shaft specks: Flex R, M.A.S.(squared) Higher trajectory (55grams)

my friend dropped some weights on the club and i would like to know how much its gonna cost him to repair it|||The shaft is unlikely to be repaired. You will probably have to

1) pay for a new shaft ( material cost)

2) have the new shaft fitted to the club. ( labour cost)

Have a look at the name of the shaft written on the shaft ( the heads are RAC right?) then have a look on a website like golfworks.com to price up the same shaft.

All up probably around $30 for the shaft and $20 for the labour

What is loft of the taylormade r7 draw pitching and sand wedge?

47 and 55 degrees respectively. |||This is a incorrect answer.

I have the r7 draw irons and have looked this up myself here:

http://www.taylormadegolf.com/product_detail.asp?pID=158%26amp;section=specifications

The PW is 44 degrees and the SW is 54 degrees.

Whats the differece between the taylormade TP red and black?

Is it just a color thing or is there a real difference? I ask cause the golf shop I go to doesn't know either %26gt;_%26lt;|||TP RED:

Larger than the TP Black (1.510"), the TP Red's NdV4 Super-Core delivers high COR off every club for exceptionally fast ball speed and increased distance

禄 Thin (.055"), multi-blend ionomer mantle works with the core to promote tour-caliber launch angle and spin off the driver and irons for optimum distance and softer sound and feel

禄 Ultra-thin cast thermoset urethane cover provides tour-caliber greenside spin for shot-stopping control plus superior durability

禄 Advanced 322 PDP (pentangular di-pyramid) dimple design delivers optimum ratio of lift and drag to extend the back-half of ball flight for longer hang-time and carry and increased distance, while also promoting consistent spin and yardages from club to club and superb stability in the wind.

TP BLACK:

Large (1.480") NdV4 Super-Core delivers high COR off every club for fast ball speed and increased distance

禄 Thicker than the TP Red (.070"), the TP Black's multi-blend ionomer mantle produces a high, distance-enhancing launch angle off the driver, fairway woods, hybrids and irons

禄 Ultra-thin cast thermoset urethane cover provides tour-caliber spin, terrific feel and superior durability

禄 Advanced 322 PDP (pentangular di-pyramid) dimple design delivers optimum ratio of lift and drag to extend the back-half of ball flight for longer hang-time and carry and increased distance, while also promoting consistent spin and yardages from club to club and superb stability in the wind|||TP red is a lower launch angle with more roll off of the tee, while the TP black has a higher launch angle with less roll off of the tee. Whats the difference between TaylorMade R11 and Taylormade R11 TP?

The TaylorMade R11 and TP Driver are the latest driver on the market, both of them are with an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable driver.

The "TP" version has a lower center of gravity and is for the more experienced player. they also have different shaft.(TP with upgraded)|||..

R11 = Game-Improvement Drivers

Key Technologies: "Flight Control Technology" (eight settings create +/- 1掳 loft change), "Moveable weight technology" (25 yards of left/right trajectory difference) and "Adjustable sole technology" (Neutral, Closed or Open for +/- 2掳 of face-angle adjustment) create 48 head settings.

------------------------------------

R11 TP = Tour Drivers

Key Technologies: The adjustable soleplate can be rotated into one of three positions to determine face angle at address (2掳 open, 2掳 closed or neutral). This combines with "movable weight" technology and "flight control" technology to create the company's most adjustable driver to date. Now you can adjust face angle and loft independently of one another.

....|||There is essentially no difference. The TP versions are usually set to have a slightly open face angle, maybe 1 or 2 degrees, and the "standard" clubs have a neutral or slightly closed face for the average golfer.

The big difference is in the shaft options. The TP versions usually have higher quality shaft options for no upcharge (although to get a TP version you're paying another $100 anyway) and they come with the "true shaft" versions. I.E. - the R11 comes with a fujikura blur 60, but has the Taylormade graphics on it. The TP version with that same shaft will not have the Taylormade logo, etc on the shaft, it will be a factory Fujikura blur 60 installed and not "personalized" for TM.

My recommendation is to get the regular version and save yourself the money.|||TAYLORMADE is the Brand.

r7 and Burner are the model for the irons.

The plus and plus XD irons are the improvement irons from original model. XD Means Extra Distance

What to do with my "new" TaylorMade SuperQuad Driver ?

In the spring I got a new TaylorMade SuperQuad Driver 9.5 deg with a Stiff shaft. Hate it ! I am replacing it with the Burner TP.

Were is the best place to sell this club besides Ebay ?|||If you have a play it again sports you can sell it to them or they will sell it for you and take a percentage.|||If you're dead-set against eBay, you may want to try one of these places:

* Local proshops/clubhouses - many courses have bulletin boards where you can post flyers or other notices about equipment for sale. Check with an employee first to make sure it's ok. Use tear-off phone number tags at the bottom.

* Craigslist - if you live in a metro area with a dedicated Craigslist, you can post a listing describing your club.

* Newspaper - your local newspaper classified section may have a Sporting Goods section.

* Used Sporting Goods Shop - a dedicated golf store (Golf Galaxy, for example) or general sporting goods shop (Play It Again Sports) may be willing to give you cash or store credit for your club.

* Online trade-in - there are a couple on-line shops that will pay you for trade-ins. Rock Bottom Golf [ http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/trade-in.h鈥?/a> ] is one I know off the top of my head, you can probably find a few more with a couple Google searches.

Remember that one or more high-quality, color pictures will help a lot with attracting buyers.

Best of luck!|||If you want full price, ebay. Ebay Ebay. Otherwise you will lose at least 50 dollars in the transaction. You can try amazon, or craigs list, or use it as a trade in. |||You can trade-in with the Burner TP to a golf shop like Golfsmith or Golf Galaxy but with lower price than ebay. I suggest try to sell it to ebay.

How do you feel about the Taylormade Tour Burner Irons??

This years model the 2008. I just bought a pair used that had been used once. They are in perfect shape and i went to hit them yesterday and loved them. So overal what are people saying about these clubs.|||If you are satisfied with them.....what difference does somebody else's opinion make? You are the one hitting them and its your game!|||i think they r good cause i hav a pair myself

they also look tite which is a big plus|||I tried them out and overall they are a really good power set of irons.

The only problem that i found with them is that when i hit the short irons, the pitching wedge and 9 iron, i found that i didnt have that much control on placement. Meaning that i couldnt take a pitching wedge which i hit about 140 yards and with the same swing only hit 100. I really had to shorten up my swing alot.

Other then that, they were amazing clubs.

Good luck, i hope you like them

Are more expensive irons such as Taylormade or Callaway irons, less susceptible to breaking?

My Spalding 3 iron of 10 years broke at the driving range. The clubhead broke off and flew into the range after hitting the ground hard by accident a few times. But I hardly ever even used this club since I had it.|||The shaft that broke on your club is very similar if not the same as the shafts used by Callaway and Taylormade. Clubs that are used on driving range mats are subjected to a lot of stress and can break at the hosel or neck. A club repair shop can easily replace the shaft for you and you'll likely pay $15 - $20 for the repair. Before sending it in for repair check to see if the shaft actually broke or if the head just came loose. If it came loose you can clean up the shaft tip and the inside of the hosel and use epoxy to reset the shaft.|||its not the club..its the shaft. I have a set of Spaldings that are over 30 years ood..the club head itself never broke. but the shaft takes alot of use by flexing all the time. Sure..those clubs are great and shoud'nt break..but like I said..the shaft is used alot!! the shaft makes a HUGE difference.|||the stainless steel could rust over time, and make the shaft weaker. But any club that you hit the wrong way has the possibility of breaking

What are the best taylormade irons out right now?

I kno theres the r9's, then the 09 burners, burner xd, and burner plus. Which one out of those are the best?|||Depends on what kind of player you are

If your a lower handicapper (like me) the Taylormade TP Smoke irons would be the best

But if your a higher handicapper then the Taylormade 09 Burner irons are probably better|||It wouldn't matter if you weren't properly fitted (length, lie angle, shaft flex, etc.) to them. Some things to know, especially about Taylormade's irons:

1. TP models have a more "traditional" loft, whereas non-TP models are "stronger". That is, a 6 iron on a TP model will be about 30*, whereas a non-TP will be 26* or so. This will lead to more distance, but also a loss of control.

2. TP models are shorter than non-TP models. This is another way to promote longer shots, but also another way to lose control of the ball.

3. Taylormade has the fastest turnout of product out of any golf company. Within 6 months, a driver or set of irons is obsolete... or is it? Definitely not. You could even save yourself some money and buy the r7's or "Tour Preferred's"- same good qualities, not as many of the bad.

But DEFINITELY get fitted before you buy anything. That's the only way your new sticks will work properly for you.|||The best performing Taylor iron would probably be the R9 TP.

Does anyone know about the taylormade japan xr fct or callaway legacy drivers?

are they perfectly legal in the usa . im on a tour an i need for it to be legal.|||The USGA website provides a list of conforming and non-conforming drivers.

What driver should I get Taylormade R11 or Titleist 910 D2? ?

They both hit almost exactly the same. I want to know what driver is more consistent and which one hits further. Also, can I change the degree of loft on the R11? Thanks.|||If they hit "almost exactly the same", how would one be more consistent or longer? Truth is, there isn't much difference between the two, other than cosmetics and sound. The key is to be properly fitted to the driver of your choice- you do that, it won't matter what brand you play, it'll be the longest, most consistent driver for your specific needs.|||I'm not sure how long you've been playing golf but I've noticed that over the years I would gladly sacrifice 5-10 yards per drive if it came with the confidence that I chose the driver that best suits my game. With technology the way it is, you could hook up every new driver to a machine and probably only see 5-10 yards difference from one brand to the next. See if you can demo both of them for more than just a few minutes and find the one that you feel most confident with. If you don't feel confident with the club you are holding, it doesn't matter how far you can hit it. Put it in the fairway!!!!

Remember, a 300 yard drive and a 3-inch putt count the same on the card......Fairways and greens.

What PGA tour pros use the Taylormade Daytona Ghost?

Looking at this putter, and just wondering what pros use it, so that i can look at there putting stats and see if it really lives up to what i've heard.|||Paula Creamer

Martin Kaymer, Richard Johnson, Matt Bettencourt, Ryan Palmer, Paula Creamer Edoardo Molinari, and Justin Rose are all Tour Players for Taylormade. Paula Creamer at present is using the TM Daytona Ghost and in fact got her first Major Championship win at Oakmont using this putter and the R9 SuperTri. Unfortunately Paula is not to high up on the putting stats. Remember it's not the putter but the puttee.

Justin Rose uses the Rossa Corza Ghost.

A majority of the Pro's are using Titleist http://www.titleist.com/leaderboard/equi…

Then Odyssey, Ping and more recently Yes (Edoardo Molinari uses the Sophie Yes, there were 3 in play at the Ryder Cup).

Press Release:

TaylorMade Golf is proud to announce the release of the putter that so many golfers have been asking for, the Rossa Daytona Ghost, a tour-proven blade that offers the familiar calming white color and high-contrast alignment cues of the now-famous Corza Ghost mallet. Like the Corza Ghost, the Rossa Daytona Ghost was developed with significant input from the world’s most sought-after putting instructor, TaylorMade Tour Staff professional Dave Stockton.

***************************************…

Tour pros who have put a prototype similar to the Rossa Daytona Ghost in play include Paula Creamer, who used it to win the U.S. Women’s Open, as well as Scott Verplank, Martin Laird, Jason Day, Peter Hanson, Darren Clarke, Andres Romero and Sean O’Hair.

***************************************…

The first model in the Ghost Series, the Corza Ghost, has proven an instant success with consumers and Tour professionals worldwide, building massive momentum in the retail marketplace. In four months, the Corza Ghost’s key achievements already include two PGA Tour victories by TMaG Tour Staff professional Justin Rose, first at the Memorial and again at the AT%26amp;T National. Corza Ghost has also fueled record-breaking growth for TaylorMade in the putter category; the brand’s 13.1% putter dollar marketshare in July 2010 is the highest total in company history.*

The Rossa Daytona Ghost also has the advantage of Rossa’s renowned and tour-proven AGSI®+ (Anti-skid Groove System Insert) Technology. The AGSI+ insert features 14 polymer-filled grooves in the face that “hold” the ball briefly at impact to negate backspin and promote forwardspin for a smoother roll and more accurate results. The AGSI+ insert also delivers superior consistency in forward roll on off-center hits, something not shown in tests of other popular putters.

The Rossa Daytona Ghost becomes available on Friday, October 1, at a street price of $129.|||Don't bother. Putting is too personal to be basing any decision on what the Pro's are playing. The Daytona Ghost is the same putter as the original Daytona, only in white (same goes with the Rossa). If you like a white putter and the look of the Daytona, go ahead and buy the Ghost. It doesn't have any bearing on performance. Remember the green putters (the IC line) from Nike a couple of years ago? This is, in its barest form, the same thing.

One thing to consider, though, is the customization the pros do. Rarely will you find a putter that someone just bought off the rack (Jerry Kelly did, however). There's some that like heavy shafts, heavy heads, heavy grips, a combination of the three, all three of the things together, or something that I didn't mention (like adding loft).

If you were still adamant about doing this, your best bet would be to find who used the original Daytona then switched to the Ghost version. Go to the Golf Channel's website- they have a "What's In The Bag" (tourney winners only), and most likely all their stats, as well.|||i believe Francesco Molinari uses it. Maybe it Edoardo Molinari that uses it, I get them confused

What is the difference between various Taylormade r9 Supertri adjustable hosels? See details please.?

My hosel reads STD LOFT, Higher, and Lower only. The hosel in the instructional booklet reads L, NU, N, and R. Can someone help me out?|||There are four main FCT (Flight Control Technology) options on the TaylorMade R9 SuperTri Driver; N, NU, R, L, and four more settings in between for a total of eight FCT settings. To change the FCT setting, you just use the wrench to unscrew the shaft, turn it to the setting you want, and screw it back in. The FCT settings affect the face angle, loft, and lie which in turn manipulates the trajectory of the ball. You will find a chart below for each loft that shows how each FCT setting affects the trajectory and specs of the driver.

Should I get a taylormade r9 5 wood for christmas?

I am 12 years old and am a 15 handicap ive tried my friends one and i like it .

FYI: My tendency is a 15 yard fade.|||I'm 16 and i have a 2 handicap. If you are looking to play high school, junior, and college golf then i would get a hybrid instead of a 5 wood. The hybrid is much easier when hitting out of rough and they are designed to draw the ball so that would help your fade. But stick with taylormade for your woods because they are the best!|||Hi, Driver325yards from http://www.golf-tips-a-2-z.com here.

All the fittings in the world, are no substitute for actually swinging a club and watching the ball flight and distance that you get. A simulator simulates real life. A fitter takes his best educated guess about what is right for you. But, at the end of the day, the proof is in the pudding.

You said that you have tried the club and you liked it. The real question is why did you like it. Because it was a new club or because you hit great shots with it. If it is the later, then buy the club. Just make sure that the one you buy is like the one you tried out (i.e. similar flex, shaft length, grip size). Just because it is the same model does not mean that it will be the same club.

By the way, a fifteen yard fade does not have to be a bad thing. Many great players have played a fade. Is it consistent with good distance and ball flight is the question.|||You are getting to the point where probably getting fit for this wood would really benefit you. You can't listen to what we have to say here. I am a fitter and I think its very important for you to make sure that this club fits you. The club could be the problem. I am not there to watch you so I can't be sure. Go to the nearest driving range or simulator and ask a PGA pro for assistance. They will take good care of you. Good luck|||I think trying to get one is better.

When i was 12 years,my father give me a gift is golf clubs.

Now i send my father gift for Christmas as X22.

I buy from this web shop, you can contact with them, and get some professional advice.|||i have a fade too. i would recommend getting a hybrid like a cobra baffler 4 hybrid with a stiff shaft. this will get a higher loft with good spin and about the same distance.|||If you like the club then get it, golfers only play with equipment they enjoy hitting. Nobody buys a club they don't like.|||you can overcome that fade so i would ask for one|||i would ask for one

Which new Taylormade driver is the best?

There are several new taylormade drivers out right now, im planning on buying one of them. just haven't decided on which one i want any info will be great. Thanks|||TaylorMade PREOWNED R7 DRAW 460 DRIVER w/ graphite (SHAFT TYPE: Taylormade Reax) $119.93

The r7 Draw driver is created for players that need as much help as they can get to hit the ball straighter, higher and longer. It's for players that can gain extra distance by turning their chronic fades into a draw, and players who will set themselves up with shorter approach shots by turning a severe banana ball into a manageable fade. What function does the channel in the sole serve on the driver and fairway wood? The channel in the sole allows us to remove a significant amount of weight from the toe and redistribute it into the heel, creating Draw-Weighted Technology.

|||The best one out today is the one that you pick after hitting it and liking the way it sets up and feels and then going to a fitting session to get the right shaft for you.

If money is no object the r7 CGB MAX LIMITED... multiple shaft and weight combinations will keep you busy tweaking. If you get a better swing or even older in years to come and need different flight combinations you can set it up for youself.|||TRUST ME, go nike sasquatch.....much more accurate and forgiving, while still maintaining a great distance.

However if you tried both nikes and taylormades and prefer taylormades, by all means pick the r7 superquad. The adjustable weights and great weight distribution makes this club fun to hit.|||The r7Super Quad 460 gives the largest club head allowed by USGA rules, has 4 moveable weights, pretty high tech. The r7 CGB Max is another, it has 3 moveable weights, the COG is further back making it easier to launch the ball higher. The Tour Burner is another has a lightweight shaft, without the weights. |||It probably has been said before and ill say it again if you can get your hands on the TM r7 425 tp it is the best driver for the best players out there right now I have it and i love it(you can find them on stealgolf.com)

If you are less talented, have a slice or cant get your hands on one then go with the tour burner(not the burner tp or tour burner tp those aren't the same)|||Just go to your local Golf Shop and try the different Taylor Made Driver they have see which driver is best for you. I'm using the Taylor Made Burner Driver (Not TP) and hitting it good. If you want to spend more than $200 then get the TP, Quad or the CGB. The regular Burner is the cheapest Taylor Made Driver right for $199. Good Luck!|||I tried out alot of the taylormade drivers and i have to say that i liked the superquad the best but not 300 bucks worth better than the burner. save your money and just get a burner.|||My choice would be the superquad.

What shaft should I pair with my Taylormade R580?

I am looking for maximum distance. The loft is 10.5 degrees and my swing speed is 90-100 mph. I was thinking maybe an Aldila NV65. Thanks a lot for any help!|||have same went to ust harmon. works great. older model shaft would go with ust pro force v 2. dollar value good. great shaft better price your tip diameter is .350. good luck.|||There are several questions that you should be aware of

1) Tips size, make sure that the green Aldila and R580 has the same tip size

2) Your launch angle. Some people like to carry the ball all the way if you're close to sea level. If you live in places like Vegas where it's dry and high in elevation, you want to roll the ball. If your existing laugh angle is low, NV (green shaft) is a low lauch shaft, you should get the NVS (orange)

3) Depends if you are a hitter (tiger woods) or swinger (ernie) Aldila is more of a hitter shaft which is not fit your swing type if you're a swinger.

If the above questions have been addressed, Aldila is an older model that you can pick up from ebay for $20 USD. Why not try it.

Hope you're not confused by my questions :)|||The best shaft will provide the max distance for you through max. launch angle and spin. So Shaft fitting is required before deciding any shaft.

But generally for your swing speed you'll need a MID KICK, Regular flex and Torque above 4.0.|||the NV is a very nice shaft. which weight you go with depends on how high you want to hit the ball as well as the feel that you prefer. the 65 is an average weight and will provide you with a mid level launch. the 55 is lighter, feels more flexible and gives a slightly higher lauch angle with the 75 being heavier with a sitffer feel and providing a lower trajectory.

How long do the grooves last on a taylormade tour burner wedge?

i just got the tour burner lob and sand wedge and i was wondering how long the grooves will last like bobby jones last 15 years how long will mine thanks|||Most golf shops and Ebay sell the grooving tool for pennies and u can do it ur self it is easy. I was told by a golf shop that I would not know the difference...|||Grooves should last as long as you have your clubs. My sand wedge is going on 35 years and there is little sign of wear. You shouldn't have to sharpen the grooves at all. You will also note that the pros will resort to "v" grooves this coming year. No more back spin from 6 inch rough.|||If the grooves on your clubs wear down you can go to a pro shop and get them sharpened

What year was taylormade burner rescue hybrid made?

it is the high launch hybrid? is it good hybrid?|||It was released in 2007 and it is a very good hybrid. Because it is a couple of years old it's easy to get at a bargain price and is a real value (I've seen them for %26lt; $90 online).

How and where can I get a taylormade 07 burner draw driver weight tool to change the weight portioning?

Because the store didn't give me one when I bought the club|||You might be able to get one from a Roger Dunn or Golfsmith type store. Or check ebay...

I have one I could sell to you for $5 if you were local to SoCal

Whats the difference between Taylormade R9 Superdeep and Supertri?

The SuperDeep is a newer players club which has a deeper face than the SupeTri. What this means is that it has two weight ports and is geared towards players to have faster swinging speeds. If you want to take a look at both of them you can find them on http://www.golfclubs.com

What's the difference between the Taylormade r7 Superquad and the r7 Superquad TP?

the tp higher center of gravity for high swing speeds . heavier head . open face . regulsr lower center of gravity to get ball higher . tp 7 and under handicap . young person . more better choice just the regular one will work for the vast majotity of people . not only that . lot of green fees price difference . thank you .|||TP has a more round shape and it said to help only little in hitting the ball straight whereas the normal superquad would help more. This is because TP stands for tour pro or tour player I don't remember. TP clubs allow the player to work the ball if they wanna hit draw or fade more.

The big different is around a hundred dollars more for TP.|||the TP means Tour Preferred. Generally it's intended for professional golfers. The appearance of the two clubs is virtually identical. I've looked at both and really can't see anything different from one to the other. Something in the dynamics of the clubs differ and the TP is probably a little 'hotter' than the regular.|||TP has a .335 tip. And the club face is about a degree open. They play fairly different, but not worth the difference in price. If you like and open face, there are LOTS of great choices that don't cost $800.00. I have owned each year issue of TP for the last several years, and all the choices you have with these drivers becomes an annoyance.|||TP is tou prefered. The difference in in the shaft and he face angle. In the regular S-QUAD, the face angle in 1* closed, in the tp, the face angle is 1* open. This leads to a more tour prefered ballflight|||The regular one is 1 degree closed to help you draw the ball, while the TP is 1 degree open to allow the pros the better workability|||think the TP is like for tour players. dont know why but they are harder to hit than regular one.|||about $400.....and a little TP logo...and the TP comes with more weights

Where can I buy the Taylormade Driver Wrench?

I bought a used Tour Burner driver last year I think the club face may be changed, so I'm looking for the wrench to adjust it. Where can I find one of these?|||A factory sells the wrench on ebay for cheap.

Which is better? The Taylormade Microlite or the Taylormade Stratus golf stand bag?

I love walking on the course and would prefer a lighter bag but I don't want something that's too small where my clubs can barely fit in. Any suggestions?|||Both bags suck. Taylormade makes horrible golf bags.

I'd get a wal mart bag for 29.95.|||It's a bag. Sorry, but it's a bag. I've never spent more than $60 on a bag. My Datrek stand bag that I bought from my local Meijer's (the Midwestern Wal-Mart, for those that don't know) for $50 is 3 years old and still going strong. I have a Great Divider cart bag ($80) that's two years old and it's also still going strong. I still have my Datrek cart bag ($60) from 5 years ago... only reason why I switched to the GD was because my wife got it for me for Christmas (It's red and black, like the colors of my Nebraska Cornhuskers).

To make a short answer long, there is no answer. It shouldn't matter if I like whichever bag- the only person who should have an opinion is YOU. If both have what you're looking for- number of pouches, enough slots for your clubs, putter well (if you like that), a nice shoulder strap, etc.- go with the one that looks best to you.|||I agree with Sandberg 100%. Taylor Made, while making great clubs have horrendous bags. I have owned 3 TM brand bags and every one has fallen apart withing a couple months. The 3 carry bags I've had all had the straps rip off. I don't know whether it's the material they use or what but they simply do not last.

After that I purchased a bag manufactured by GEL in England from EBay. The bag is now three years old. No tears, no wear marks, still perfect. I would check into finding one of those if you can. It is the only carry bag I've owned that has performed so well and you can usually pick them up fairly cheap (I paid $28 for mine).

There are other companies that manufacture decent quality bags without breaking the bank. Believe it or not, WalMart carries a brand named "Ergonomix" which seems to be pretty soild and I believe only runs about $49.

Good Luck!

What year did the taylormade r7 460 driver come out?

I cant remember how long ago i bought this driver. i know it been awhile, i was thinking about getting a new driver. How much has the technology changed since the r7 460? how much distance/accuracy could i gain all things being equal? i Hit driver around 250yrds now, swing speed 100 mph, shoot in mid 80s , thanks for input|||Kevin,

I don't know the exact day but it was in 2007, hence r7. The r9 came out in 2009 and the r11 this year. I assume we may see an r13, if Taylor Made is not superstitious.

I too played the r7 SuperQuad and played around 120 rounds with it. During early 2010, I felt it just wasn't working as well as when I first got it. I upgraded at that time to the r9 and found that I gained about 15 yards, but more importantly found my control was much better. I would love to upgrade to the r11 but because it is white and my wife also plays golf, I can't hide it from her if I get it.

You didn't ask about this but I'll tell you anyway. I also upgraded my irons in 2010, same time I upgraded my driver. I found the technology in irons had changed much more than with drivers. I got the Burner Irons and added 30 yards with the mid irons and 50+ with the long irons and control increase was more than I could have hoped for. If you're iron set is 5 or more years old - upgrade that first!

Good Luck and Low Scores

Kevin, Update: I went to the Taylor Made website and found their press releases by month and found the answer to your first question, below is the cut and paste from that site. Source below will have the actual web site.

TaylorMade Introduces r7 SuperQuad Driver

Friday, January 26, 2007|||This product is very classic, from the beginning involved in the sport, I purchased a taylormade r7 drivers, its shaft is my favorite, until now I still use it, it is classic, irreplaceable, until this year I bought a R11, it can debug perspective I really like, I will participate in the competition every time with these two products, I and my friends are around to buy in the store, product and quality is good, perfect, great, you can not miss sales|||r7 quad first came out in 2005 it was on the 2005 golf digest hot list. Not sure about the r7 460 but I'd imagine it was around 2005-2006

I'm golfing with the superquad currently but I've gone to golf town quite a few times to try out other drivers without a noticeable distance.

Best thing to do is to bring in your driver to a place like golf town where they let you hit the clubs in a simulator and see if there's a difference, but chances are there won't be a huge difference.|||I've been playing an R5 since 2005 and it seems like the newer technology hasn't progressed very much as far as distance goes. Some of the newer drivers like the R11 have slightly better feel and look, but if its not broken don't fix it.

The major companies have pretty much maxed out the face and size so the things you might want to look into would be head composition or offset/onset. The R7 pretty much got down the weight management and movability, but i have heard good things about the R11.|||TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Driver is simply the best driver I have ever used in my life, lightweight FAST FAST FASSSSSSSSSSST, I highly recommend it. I LOVE the look of it too with the white head and black face. It really stands out on the course!|||I want to tell everyone, GOLFCLUB777 is great, perfect, the quality is perfect, you can not miss sales

When are the taylormade 09 burner irons coming down in price?

They are to much money right now.|||TMs price drops are always scheduled and go hand in hand with new product launches. So look for burner to drop in Jan or Feb, with a new iron for spring launch. It's not look they are not going to cram a new product line out there, it's what they do|||You can check http://www.clubgolfsale.com they sell the taylormade 09 burner irons at a big discount price.|||Probably not until the R9 irons start gaining some market traction..but even then, they are still a very HOT selling iron and TM will not reduce their sell price until the sales slow significantly.

Is the taylormade tour burner supposed to be harder to hit than the regular taylormade burner?

I'm going to be hitting them, but I want to know if I should hit the tour burner or not, I'm about a 10-15 handicap, and want to know is the tour burner supposed to be hard to hit, because it says tour, but I see there is a tour burner tp so I'm not sure, does anyone know?|||There are at least four TaylorMade Burners:

1. The Taylormade Burner - $299

2. The Taylormade Burner TP - $399

3. The Taylormade Burner Tour - $399

4. The Taylormade Burner Tour TP - $599

In general, the Tour models are gonna be a little harder to hit, especially if you tend to slice. The reason for this is because the Tour models have a slightly open face (probably 1-2 degrees open). The non-tour burners have a slightly closed clubface, which promotes a draw and can add a little distance on well-struck shots (a shot with the slightest hint of slice will not benefit from any added distance).

The TP models have upgraded shafts and grips, and have the option for a clubface with lower loft. The regular burner is the only model that has the option of a 13 degree face, which is alot of loft for a driver and desireable for golfers that have trouble hitting drivers.

The Tour models are all made with titanium, which is lighter and more expensive. They Tour models are also only 450cc compared to 460cc for the non-Tour models. This is because pros prefer a slightly smaller club head which allows them to shape shots easier.

All in all, the tourt models are definitely nicer clubs. Since you are a 10-15 handicapper, I would say that you would really benefit from the upgraded shaft in the TP or Tour models. However, you really ned to get fitted for a shaft in order to benefit from the upgrade. The shaft really makes all the difference. Optimizing my shaft added 20-30 yards to my drives. Honestly, its really all about the shaft. The right shaft on a lesser clubhead will go farther than a premium clubhead on a poorly optimized shaft.

Having said all that, I would really recommend looking at the Cleveland HiBore XL. They just came out with the XLS and you can pick up the older XL for $150 now. The HiBore comes with a simple option of a red shaft(lower launch) or gold shaft (higher launch). You can hit the exact same club with each shaft and figure out wich one you need. Also, if you happen to live in an area that is frequently windy, the HiBore does exceptionally well in the wind.|||The tour part on clubs means that they're designed for players with good ballstriking abilitles. This just means that they're harder to hit, but when hit well they yield much better results. This is just like how it is in irons. There are player improvement clubs with wide souls and huge cavity backs which are incredibly easy to get the ball up and hit it straight with, but these aren't good for experienced players who want to fade or draw the ball. Because of this, tour players play with blades, which are extremely unforgiving, but give great results to those who know how to hit them. So my advise would be for you to try out the tour burner before you buy it, but you'll probably be alright playing with it.|||The Taylormade Tour Burner is simply a newer edition of the Taylormade Burner, from 2007. The Tour Burner comes in two models: Regular and TP (tour preferred). The TP model has a slightly open face, to promote the ability to work the ball. It also comes with more "high end" shaft options. The Regular burner has a slighty closed face in order to help higher handicappers hit a straighter ball. I would recommend the Regular Tour Burner.|||The tour you see on clubs does meen the club is designed differntly for differnt players. The Tour clubs are designed for players who know how to hit the club to make a shot fade into a spot where they want. If your Handicap is 10 to 15 you may know how to do this. The tour clubs are for more advanced players . If i was a beginner or a high handicapper I would stay away....................................鈥?Ya I would say it would be more difficult because if it faded or sliced you may think it was something you did .. but was not your fault at all|||As far as the "tour" on things like the Tour Burner and X-20 Tours, they are not for tour caliber players, just mid-handicap players like yourself. However TP stands for tour preferred, which, while I haven't hit them, will likely make those slightly harder to hit than the standard Tour Burner. Like when people say that Sergio uses the Tour Burner, my likely guess would be that he uses the Tour Burner TP

I am looking to buy a Taylormade driver head and R9 sleeve on Ebay. Is that too risky?

I bought a shaft and would like to buy an R9 Supertri sleeve and driver head on ebay to set it up. Is there any way to ensure I get authentic products or do you have any other ideas?|||always look at someone's feed back see what other people say about the seller

any form of negative feed back is their for a reason and also look to see if they accept returns

above all you are protected by pay pal if they miss sell you just ring ebay customer services the number can be got from the internet depending what country you live in and also opening a case in ebay could help and do not for get to leave the appropriate feed back as well|||The only thing I can tell you for sure is that authentic TM clubs will have a serial number etched into the hosel (irons and woods). There are some knockoffs on EBay, but I have bought and sold over 50 sets of clubs and never had an issue yet. If your not sure of the authenticity, ask the seller. If by chance they would lie to you, you can report it and EBay will boot them from the site as well as secure a refund for you (in most cases).

The nice thing about EBay is obviously the great deals you can find. Check the sellers feedback and comments from previous buyers. I think you'll find most of them are quite reliable.|||I have bought all my clubs off of eBay since I can remember and have not had any trouble. A seller would be taking a huge risk selling a fake, so I would not worry at all. Check the serial number when you get it. Just because it has a serial number does not mean it is real. You can contact Taylor Made, or register it online. I would say go for it. You will find it for almost half price. Do not shy away from buying used either, a broken in driver will hit better than a new one. Just make sure it is not beat up on the face or crown.|||I shop on EBAY about 75% of the time for golf equipment. Check the feedback. For extra "peace of mind" just make sure they take returns. You may have to eat the shipping cost, but that is better than eating the whole thing.|||no ebay is a very secure site, and make sure you check the sellers feedback, then you wont go far wrong. hope this helps.

Would it be difficult for an Average Golfer to use a set of TaylorMade Burner Oversize Irons ?

I usually shoot between an 85 and 95 when playing a round of golf. I'm looking to step up my playing with a new set of irons and I was wondering if it would be difficult for me to switch to a set of TaylorMade Burner Oversize Irons ? Right now I use an off brand set that is standard length and lie. The Burners are also a standard lengh and lie. Thanks for any knowledge..|||Those irons are designed to make your game better, no matter your skill level.|||no i don't think it would be too difficult. i use oversized irons, and i have gotten better ever siince i've started using them. good luck!|||You will probably find them easier to hit than the clubs you have now. The oversize head increases the size of the sweetspot so you don't have to hit it perfect and it will still go straight and far.|||yea i think you sould try those clubs cause those clubs are good and they would make your game better so if your want your game to get better i think you should get those clubs|||Are you consideirng the TM Burner XDs or the Tour Burners? The XDs are considered to be a "game improvement iron". The target demographic for these irons is the mid to high handicapper. The Tour Burners targeted toward the mid to low handicapper. The tours aren't as forgiving as the XDs but the upside is that you can work the ball better with them than the XDs. I'd suggest you try them both and see which you prefer.

The differences in these can make the difference in around anywhere from 50 to 150 bucks.|||Hard to say. You could check ebay and see how much a set is going for there or you could trade them in at tgw.com and get store credit for them. They have this special going where you can get an extra 20% bonus on the trade-in. It sucks that you can't get cash for them, but who doesn't like getting new stuff?

Can you do anything about a dime sized dent on top of a Taylormade 97?

Will it affect the club at all?

How could I get it repaired, without it being under warranty?

Any other suggestions?|||Yes. i tried on my new taylormade burner driver. i dented the head by hitting a golf ball. i called taylormade and they said that i had a warranty but it doesn't cover "that" damage. the drivers comes with a two year warranty. you can but it will be pretty high. i would advise to leave it alone and keep playing because it doesn't really change your score. i hit my driver 300 yds. and down the middle. my score is still 79|||if it doesn't effect your swing than i would say just leave it be because u don't want to mess up ur club any more|||Don't worry about a small dent on the top of the driver wont affect your swing or how you hit the ball... as long as there isn't a dent in the face it wont affect anything.

Would the taylormade burner super fast driver be a good driver for me?

I'm 13 and I'm 5.10 I started playing golf about 4 weeks ago and can drive about 230 with my dads driver which is a ping g5. Would this driver give me more distance? Would I be able to hit it smoothly? And is it worth the 150 dollars?|||The only way to really know is to test it against other drivers. It's a great driver and you'll hit it longer and straighter no doubt. But maybe not the longest and straightest out of all new drivers.

For example, I just bought an Adams Speedline F11 today, and replaced my Ping G2, I tried the Diablo Octane and Ping G15 also. They were all better than what I had but the Adams was the best.

Put simply...

Is it better than the G5? Yes

Is it the best club for you? Maybe

Is it worth $150? Depends on the budget and the improvement you see from the G15.

Hope this helps.

I have been playing a few times this spring and constantly find myself between hitting the pw and the sw. I want to buy a gap wedge to help this but I want to know the loft of my r7 pw and sw first before i buy a new club.|||Dirt,

The official Gap wedge is listed at 50*

Good Luck!|||Your PW is 45 degrees, and your SW is 55 degrees. This makes a gap wedge of 50 degrees perfect when you're between clubs, and, 50 degree wedges are very common.

Which irons are better for a scratch taylormade R7 TP irons VS Tour Preferred irons ?

HI every one let me introduce myself i am a 2 handicap who has been using the same clubs since 2001 and i feel that maybe i can get to be a scrach golfer or better with better irons am considering buying the taylormade R7 TP irons or the taylormade Tour Preferrred irons i want help on deciding which are better.|||Go and hit them side by side and decide for yourself. Your a 2 h/cap, you will know which is better for you.|||i think maybe TaylorMade 08 r7 CGB Max Irons will be good for you.

Large, thin, high-strength steel clubface promotes high COR for faster ball speed and increased distance

Extra-large clubhead with tungsten weights increases MOI for greater stability and forgiveness.

鈾?SuperFast Technology reduces total club weight and promotes faster swing speed for added distance

Inverted Cone Technology expands the high COR zone to promote higher ball speed on off-center hits for more distance shot to shot

鈾?Hollow topline allows CG to be moved back deep in the clubhead for incredibly easy launch on a towering, distance-enhancing flight

|||Which one is better for you should be determined by the results you obtain by hitting each one and comparing the data. Not by an infusion of comments by people who have never seen you or your game.|||neither too expensive !!!! there is alot better out there even tour exotics are more reasonable and are just the same quality

How much could I get for 2003 Taylormade Rac LT Irons?

They are in GREAT shape! I clean the grooves as best as I can and they are good enough to backspin a couple of feet. There are little nicks on the bottom where they hit tee's(not indents). The grips are in GREAT shape with soft feel and shock absorbent. The shafts are the stock Steel Temper gold. Thanks!|||check out this website. http://valueguide.pga.com/|||golf clubs depreciate in value faster than used cars. Doesn't matter how good a shape they're in, $100 bucks tops.|||there 2nd hand bro.....and not sought after.....100 dollars tops

I need a new driver and have narrowed my choice to either a Ping G10 or TaylorMade r9.?

I need a new driver and have narrowed my choice to either a Ping G10 or TaylorMade r9. Any suggestions as to which is better? My old driver was a Ping and worked pretty good until the oak tree incident after a particularly bad slice. The G10 looks pretty cool- http://460ccdriver.com

But I guess they all do.|||if you want forgiveness get a Ping rapture v2 or go with the G10 or get last years rapture for under $200 bucks|||I have demoed both the Taylormade R9 and the Ping G10. I prefer the G10 over the R9 even though it may be less forgiving I thought it felt and looked better at address and more comfortable in my swing. Your choice should definitely be based on personal experiance and trying out both clubs. Whichever club feels better to you is the club you should go with.|||I have the g10 and love it. Drawback to taylormade is i have heard the shafts they have been putting into their clubs are weak meaning you need to get custom fit if you go that route cause even stiff off the shelf might not be stiff enough also the g10 is easy to hit i think i picked it up and drove it straight and also great as you get better and also the price difference is major advantage to g10|||if you are really good, then the g10 is what you want to get. if you need some forgiveness from time to time, get the taylormade. its also important to try and demo both of them and if you have the skill for the g10 and it feels nice when swinging it, go for it, otherwise the r9 is still a great driver for anyone. good luck.|||Either one is a great club. However this is only half the gig if you wish to have the "perfect" driver......once you decide TM or PING (I am partical to TM) take your new club to a professional fitter. He will fit you with the perfect shaft for YOU. It may cost you more then the driver it self but well worth it. Your confidence will go through the roof !

I got an extra 30 yards with my new Burner.....You may seek his advice before you purchase.....He may one there already to go at a great price........|||I have also been reviewing these clubs. My understanding is that the g10 is not as forgiving as the r9. G10 is more suited for the lower handicap player.|||if you are stuck between the two, go with the R9.

otherwise try them both..you want to get one you will love, you don't want to have to get new equipment alll the time|||i have an Taylormade R7 superquad and i love it! i would get another taylormade driver or a titliest one! so go with the r9 or a 909|||R9|||r9 ftw
