What PGA tour pros use the Taylormade Daytona Ghost?

Looking at this putter, and just wondering what pros use it, so that i can look at there putting stats and see if it really lives up to what i've heard.|||Paula Creamer

Martin Kaymer, Richard Johnson, Matt Bettencourt, Ryan Palmer, Paula Creamer Edoardo Molinari, and Justin Rose are all Tour Players for Taylormade. Paula Creamer at present is using the TM Daytona Ghost and in fact got her first Major Championship win at Oakmont using this putter and the R9 SuperTri. Unfortunately Paula is not to high up on the putting stats. Remember it's not the putter but the puttee.

Justin Rose uses the Rossa Corza Ghost.

A majority of the Pro's are using Titleist http://www.titleist.com/leaderboard/equi…

Then Odyssey, Ping and more recently Yes (Edoardo Molinari uses the Sophie Yes, there were 3 in play at the Ryder Cup).

Press Release:

TaylorMade Golf is proud to announce the release of the putter that so many golfers have been asking for, the Rossa Daytona Ghost, a tour-proven blade that offers the familiar calming white color and high-contrast alignment cues of the now-famous Corza Ghost mallet. Like the Corza Ghost, the Rossa Daytona Ghost was developed with significant input from the world’s most sought-after putting instructor, TaylorMade Tour Staff professional Dave Stockton.

Tour pros who have put a prototype similar to the Rossa Daytona Ghost in play include Paula Creamer, who used it to win the U.S. Women’s Open, as well as Scott Verplank, Martin Laird, Jason Day, Peter Hanson, Darren Clarke, Andres Romero and Sean O’Hair.

The first model in the Ghost Series, the Corza Ghost, has proven an instant success with consumers and Tour professionals worldwide, building massive momentum in the retail marketplace. In four months, the Corza Ghost’s key achievements already include two PGA Tour victories by TMaG Tour Staff professional Justin Rose, first at the Memorial and again at the AT%26amp;T National. Corza Ghost has also fueled record-breaking growth for TaylorMade in the putter category; the brand’s 13.1% putter dollar marketshare in July 2010 is the highest total in company history.*

The Rossa Daytona Ghost also has the advantage of Rossa’s renowned and tour-proven AGSI®+ (Anti-skid Groove System Insert) Technology. The AGSI+ insert features 14 polymer-filled grooves in the face that “hold” the ball briefly at impact to negate backspin and promote forwardspin for a smoother roll and more accurate results. The AGSI+ insert also delivers superior consistency in forward roll on off-center hits, something not shown in tests of other popular putters.

The Rossa Daytona Ghost becomes available on Friday, October 1, at a street price of $129.|||Don't bother. Putting is too personal to be basing any decision on what the Pro's are playing. The Daytona Ghost is the same putter as the original Daytona, only in white (same goes with the Rossa). If you like a white putter and the look of the Daytona, go ahead and buy the Ghost. It doesn't have any bearing on performance. Remember the green putters (the IC line) from Nike a couple of years ago? This is, in its barest form, the same thing.

One thing to consider, though, is the customization the pros do. Rarely will you find a putter that someone just bought off the rack (Jerry Kelly did, however). There's some that like heavy shafts, heavy heads, heavy grips, a combination of the three, all three of the things together, or something that I didn't mention (like adding loft).

If you were still adamant about doing this, your best bet would be to find who used the original Daytona then switched to the Ghost version. Go to the Golf Channel's website- they have a "What's In The Bag" (tourney winners only), and most likely all their stats, as well.|||i believe Francesco Molinari uses it. Maybe it Edoardo Molinari that uses it, I get them confused
