What shaft should I pair with my Taylormade R580?

I am looking for maximum distance. The loft is 10.5 degrees and my swing speed is 90-100 mph. I was thinking maybe an Aldila NV65. Thanks a lot for any help!|||have same went to ust harmon. works great. older model shaft would go with ust pro force v 2. dollar value good. great shaft better price your tip diameter is .350. good luck.|||There are several questions that you should be aware of

1) Tips size, make sure that the green Aldila and R580 has the same tip size

2) Your launch angle. Some people like to carry the ball all the way if you're close to sea level. If you live in places like Vegas where it's dry and high in elevation, you want to roll the ball. If your existing laugh angle is low, NV (green shaft) is a low lauch shaft, you should get the NVS (orange)

3) Depends if you are a hitter (tiger woods) or swinger (ernie) Aldila is more of a hitter shaft which is not fit your swing type if you're a swinger.

If the above questions have been addressed, Aldila is an older model that you can pick up from ebay for $20 USD. Why not try it.

Hope you're not confused by my questions :)|||The best shaft will provide the max distance for you through max. launch angle and spin. So Shaft fitting is required before deciding any shaft.

But generally for your swing speed you'll need a MID KICK, Regular flex and Torque above 4.0.|||the NV is a very nice shaft. which weight you go with depends on how high you want to hit the ball as well as the feel that you prefer. the 65 is an average weight and will provide you with a mid level launch. the 55 is lighter, feels more flexible and gives a slightly higher lauch angle with the 75 being heavier with a sitffer feel and providing a lower trajectory.
