What TaylorMade irons are the most forgiving?

I just started golfing this season and I'm decently good. I'm looking at getting a set with a stiff shaft if that makes any difference.|||You may be confused. Most golfers just starting don't have fast swings, so maybe you need a flexible shaft? I don't know you though so just saying. But really if your looking for forgiveness try PING Rapture V2's or Callaway Big Bertha 2009. SUPER GAME IMPROVEMENT.|||If you are a beginner, why are you looking at stiff shaft irons? Unless your driver swing speed is over 100, you will lose some distance on your irons, and have a propensity to push them.

The Burner XD is probably the most forgiving in the TM line, but as others have noted, why limit yourself to TM? I strongly urge you to focus less on equipment and more on lessons. You can pick up a great set of game improvement or even super game improvement irons used or on clearance, and use the saved money for instruction.|||TaylorMade Burner XD irons are probably the most forgiving of the TM line of irons. I'm wondering though why you want to go with stiff shafts. Have you ever had your swing speed measured? If it isn't 95 mph or better you shouldn't be using stiff shaft clubs. Even if you're in th 95 mph range, you're still a relative beginner and need to be aware that stiff shaft irons are harder to hit than regular shaft irons. Make sure that you have your swing speed measured before commiting to purchasing any clubs.|||r7 CGB MAX, or the Burner XDs.

Both of these sets have much forgiveness, but Taylormade is not know for irons of these type; I could suggest MUCH more forgiveness in other manufacturers. You would want to go to Taylormade for top-notch player's irons.|||If you're looking outside of TaylorMade, I'd get the Mizuno MX-19s. They have a HUGE (HUMONGOUS) sweet spot. They are very forgiving and are probably the most forgiving club I know of.|||2009 burner irons
