How long do the grooves last on a taylormade tour burner wedge?

i just got the tour burner lob and sand wedge and i was wondering how long the grooves will last like bobby jones last 15 years how long will mine thanks|||Most golf shops and Ebay sell the grooving tool for pennies and u can do it ur self it is easy. I was told by a golf shop that I would not know the difference...|||Grooves should last as long as you have your clubs.My sand wedge is going on 35 years and there is little sign of wear. You shouldn't have to sharpen the grooves at all. You will also note that the pros will resort to "v" grooves this coming year. No more back spin from 6 inch rough.|||If the grooves on your clubs wear down you can go to a pro shop and get them sharpened
